Responsibilities:
Journal Indexing:
Manage the comprehensive indexing of academic journals to ensure they meet international standards for accessibility and visibility.
Database Management:
Maintain and update journal records in databases, including abstracting and indexing services.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of journal metadata, keywords, and indexing information.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with editorial teams to enhance the discoverability of published articles.
Monitoring Trends:
Stay informed about indexing and abstracting best practices and trends in the academic publishing industry.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Library Science, Information Science, or related).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in database management and indexing tools.
Excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of academic publishing and indexing standards is a plus.
